Ram Brand Introduces America's Best Full-Size Truck And Van Powertrain Warranty Of 10 Years/100,000 Miles
Ram has introduced a new 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty for its 2026 model-year trucks and vans sold in the United States. This warranty, which excludes full battery-electric vehicles, is designed to support customers as they increasingly choose longer loan terms. The warranty covers key components like the engine and transmission, reflecting Ram's commitment to vehicle quality.
The warranty applies to original owners of 2026 Ram models, including the Chassis Cab lineup. It covers essential parts such as the engine, transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, differentials, and axles for up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. This offer is available for both retail purchases and leases by individuals and businesses but does not extend to fleet purchases.
Tim Kuniskis, CEO of the Ram brand, highlighted that truck buyers are now financing their purchases over longer periods. "Everything is more expensive, and trucks are certainly no exception. Truck buyers are financing purchases for longer periods of time, with nearly 80% of new truck loans exceeding five years," he stated. "Our customers are making a long-term investment in Ram, and with America’s best full-size truck limited powertrain warranty, Ram is making a stronger and longer commitment to our customers."
Ram's new warranty initiative aligns with its strategy to announce 25 new products over the next year and a half. The brand offers a comprehensive range of pickups and commercial vehicles such as the Ram 1500, Heavy Duty models (2500/3500), Chassis Cabs (3500/4500/5500), and ProMaster vans.
The company has significantly enhanced its Light-Duty and Heavy Duty pickups for 2025. These improvements include new offerings in the rapidly growing sport truck segment. Among these is the Ram 1500 RHO, which boasts more horsepower per dollar than any other performance off-road pickup.
In commercial sectors, Ram is launching an updated Chassis Cab line for 2025 with features aimed at aiding customers and upfitters. The brand is also focusing on enhancing its commercial offerings through dedicated B2B expertise and improved sales and service support.
