2026 Ram 1500 Express Returns In Black Alongside Four New Colours
The 2026 Ram 1500 Express is now available for order, starting at $44,495, including destination fees. This model is assembled at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan. The Ram 1500 Express offers a compelling mix of style and value, available in Crew Cab and Quad Cab versions with either 2WD or 4WD options.
Tim Kuniskis, CEO of the Ram brand, stated, "The Express is the latest drop in Ram’s product offensive." He added that they began the 2025 model year with new versions of the Ram 1500 and Heavy Duty lineups. The introduction of the Express marks a continuation of their strategy to enhance trim levels.
The standard engine for the Ram 1500 Express is a 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 with 305 horsepower. An optional upgrade to a 3.0-litre Hurricane SO I-6 engine, offering 420 horsepower, is available for an additional $1,695. The vehicle also includes adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking features.
The towing capacity reaches up to 11,550 lbs., specifically for the Quad Cab 2WD equipped with the Hurricane engine. The interior features Liquid Graphite laser-etched paint accents and Gridiron colours. Exterior elements include black-bezel LED headlamps and a monochromatic paint scheme.
The Black Express package returns for the 2026 model year at $995 but is limited to Quad and Crew Cab 4WD models. This package includes a sport hood, black badging, black 20-inch wheels, side steps, LED fog lamps, and an upgraded interior featuring black cloth bucket seats and a floor console.
Available colours for this model are Diamond Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Forged Blue, and Hydro Blue. Pricing varies by configuration: Quad Cab 2WD starts at $44,495; Crew Cab 2WD at $47,245; Quad Cab 4WD at $48,345; Crew Cab 4WD at $51,095.

The first Ram Express was introduced in 1939 as part of Dodge's T, V, and W series trucks. These early models featured gas engines with up to 78 horsepower. Originally priced at $670 in 1939, these historic pickups now sell for around $13,900 on average.
