2025 Formula DRIFT Pro Championship Round 4 Seeding Bracket Results From New Jersey
The Formula DRIFT PRO Championship Round 4 Seeding Bracket took place at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ, on Friday, June 20, 2025. The event was initially delayed due to a severe storm but resumed early Friday morning. This round determined the top competitors for the upcoming championship heats.
Jack Shanahan from Ireland emerged victorious in the Type S PRO Seeding Bracket. He secured his win after a challenging battle with Tommy Lemaire of Canada. Shanahan's superior chase run earned him the victory and an edge in the Rookie of the Year race over fellow newcomer Lemaire.
The Seeding Bracket format was adjusted to ensure all drivers in the Top 32 competition heats would face an opponent rather than having a bye run. The top eight finishers automatically advanced, while the next four spots were filled based on driver rankings. This setup aimed to enhance competition and fairness among participants.
In this round, 13 drivers competed for 12 available spots in the Top 16 Seeding Bracket. Federico Sceriffo from Italy was eliminated after losing his first battle against Nick Noback from the USA. The remaining drivers secured their places through intense competition.
Drivers earn three Championship points for each Seeding Bracket heat they win. For instance, winning the final heat grants a driver 12 points. In this event, Jack Shanahan topped the rankings with 12 points, followed by Tommy Lemaire with nine points and Dan Burkett with six points.
