Porsche Macan GTS Electric Debuts With 563hp & 586km Range
Porsche has revealed the first Macan GTS Electric, positioned between the Macan 4S and Turbo as the performance rung in the electric Macan family. Porsche says the ICE Macan is already retired in the EU, and the lineup will be fully electric by 2026.
The Macan GTS Electric uses a dual-motor layout with one motor on each axle, producing 509 horsepower in normal driving. When Porsche's Overboost function is activated, the combined output peaks at 563 horsepower while the system delivers 954 Nm of torque for short bursts.
Porsche quotes a 0-100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds for the Macan GTS Electric and a top speed limited to 250 km/h. The Porsche Macan GTS offers a WLTP range of up to 586 kilometres from its 100kWh battery pack which fast charges from 10 to 80 per cent in just 21 minute when connected to a 270 kW DC fast charger.
The Porsche Macan GTS also comes with adaptive air suspension, a lower ride height and performance systems such as active torque vectoring plus optional rear-axle steering, all tuned to sharpen handling and stability for the GTS application.
Exterior detailing distinguishes the GTS with more robust rocker panels and specific visual cues; Lugano Blue joins the palette alongside Carmine Red and Chalk, while buyers may select up to 15 standard colours and roughly 60 Exclusive Manufaktur options.
The GTS ships with 21-inch wheels as standard and offers a 22-inch Anthracite Gray upgrade. Porsche's product materials highlight choice and visual differentiation, coupling GTS-specific trim with optional larger wheels and a sportier stance compared with lower Macan EV variants.
A GTS Interior Package is offered, featuring contrast stitching that can match select exterior hues and a GTS logo on the steering wheel and instrument cluster. Porsche ties interior trim options to exterior choices and restricts some trim packs to specific combinations.
Interiors can receive carbon-fibre trim and the GTS Interior Package when selected; Porsche balances visual upgrades and tactile finishes with chassis and software calibrations to ensure the GTS character extends across both cabin and driving dynamics.
Porsche continues to offer broad personalisation and factory options, including the GTS Interior Package, Exclusive Manufaktur finishes, bespoke wheel and brake choices and calibrated performance upgrades that allow buyers to specify visual, comfort and dynamic attributes.
The Macan GTS Electric grows Porsche's electric Macan line to five variants, creating a clear performance ladder from entry electric Macans up to this high-output model, while preserving the brand's emphasis on driver engagement and model differentiation.
