Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles Expands With New Demonstration Lap Options For Enthusiasts

Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) has expanded its offerings at the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles (PECLA) with two new demonstration lap options. These additions increase the total number of track experiences to over 40. The new options allow guests to enjoy Porsche's performance from the passenger seat, providing a thrilling experience alongside a professional instructor.

Michelle Rainey, Director of Porsche Experience Centers, expressed enthusiasm about these new offerings. "We want as many people to experience that special moment - the thrill that is riding in a Porsche on track alongside a professional instructor – that truly brings home what our cars are about," she said. "We’re proud to be able to provide this option, which is at a lower cost than our driving experiences, and allows our instructors to truly demonstrate what our cars are capable of."

New Demonstration Laps at Porsche Experience Center

The Drift Demonstration Laps take place on the Low Friction Handling Circuit using a Porsche 911 GT3. Participants will witness vehicle control techniques essential for maintaining a consistent and controlled skid. Meanwhile, the Off-Road Demonstration Laps feature the Porsche Cayenne S navigating logs, moguls, and rock beds on PECLA’s Off-Road Course.

These new options join the existing Handling Circuit Demonstration Laps. This high-speed experience simulates driving on a country road. Guests can choose from various Porsche models like the iconic 911, mid-engine 718, electric Taycan, or Macan Turbo SUV.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in the U.S., PEC Atlanta and PEC Los Angeles offer immersive brand experiences. On-track activities cater to both drivers and passengers while off-track attractions include curated vehicle displays, simulators, dining experiences, and retail stores for enthusiasts of all ages.

The centers also feature meeting spaces and iconic architecture for an unforgettable visit. Similar programs are available at PEC Atlanta, ensuring guests have access to thrilling experiences across locations.
