Polestar Unveils Collezione Mille For The 2025 Mille Miglia Green In Italy

Polestar is once again participating in the Mille Miglia Green, aiming to defend its previous title. The event, taking place from 17 to 21 June, sees Polestar showcasing its full model range. This includes the Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and Polestar 4, all equipped with long-range capabilities. These vehicles are designed for endurance, featuring motorsport-inspired elements and large batteries that allow them to travel over 600 kilometres between charges.

The cars are fitted with Michelin E Primacy and Pilot Sport EV tyres, specifically optimised for electric vehicles. These tyres were developed in collaboration with the Polestar chassis team to ensure optimal handling and range efficiency. Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar, stated: "Polestar cars offer great performance, not only with fast acceleration but also with outstanding range. We are winning many comparison tests already but to bring our lineup to the historical Mille Miglia Green race in Italy is an ultimate endurance test that brings classic car culture to the future."

The 'Collezione Mille' racing liveries pay tribute to the rich history of Italian racing. Inspired by the Mille Miglia's legacy, these designs modernise traditional elements. The two-tone paint scheme features a 'dipped' front end, a nod to how racing teams used to distinguish drivers. This design extends from Polestar's 'Arctic Circle' collection seen earlier this year at Austria's FAT Ice Race.

A distinctive feature of the livery is the white circle typically reserved for racing numbers. Before the race starts, it remains understated but will display official entry numbers during Mille Miglia Green. Large decals numbered 2, 3, and 4 in Italian flag colours celebrate Italy as the host nation of this prestigious event.

Polestar is a Swedish brand focused on electric performance cars and sustainable innovation. It operates in 28 markets worldwide across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The current lineup includes Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and Polestar 4 models. Future plans involve introducing new models like the Polestar 5 GT in 2025 and expanding manufacturing into Europe.

The company is committed to sustainability with goals like halving greenhouse gas emissions per vehicle by 2030 and achieving climate neutrality by 2040. Its strategy encompasses Climate, Transparency, Circularity, and Inclusion.

In last year's Mille Miglia Green race, the Polestar 2 Long range Single motor made history as the first Swedish car to win. Driven by an all-Italian crew of Mirco Magni and Alessandro Ferruta, it marked a significant achievement for the brand.
