Petersen Automotive Museum Hosts Charity Cruise-In To Support Fire Recovery Efforts On January 26
A special charity event is set for Sunday, January 26, at the Petersen Automotive Museum. This event aims to support recovery efforts from the Southern California fires. Clarios and OPTIMA Batteries are backing this initiative, which will include fundraising, item collection, and a Red Cross blood drive.
The museum's charity Cruise-In will express gratitude to first responders while aiding recovery efforts. Proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, and the LAPD West Bureau. The American Red Cross will also participate with an information booth and Blood Donation Center.

Donations will be collected for distribution to evacuation centres and families affected by the fires. "We’re committed to showing up for communities in need, and the Petersen Automotive Museum is part of our extended community," stated Adam Muellerweiss, Chief Sustainability Officer at Clarios.
Terry L. Karges, Executive Director of the museum, expressed pride in collaborating with OPTIMA Batteries, Clarios, and the car community to support recovery efforts. "The devastation caused by the fires is heartbreaking," he said.
The charity Cruise-In welcomes all vehicle makes and models. Showcar tickets are priced at $50, including general admission to the museum, complimentary bagels, coffee, and show car parking. General admission tickets also cost $50 with similar benefits.
To honour first responders' heroic efforts, LA City fire and police personnel can enjoy free one-day admission to the museum until April 26, 2025. They can redeem this offer by presenting their work ID at the admission desk before this date.
Fundraising Goals
The museum is halfway towards its $100,000 fundraising goal. It hopes that support from the car community will help achieve this target. For those wishing to contribute to relief funds or stay updated on event news and charity elements, visiting the Cruise-In event page is recommended.
