Petersen Automotive Museum To Celebrate Ken Block's Life With Special Event On April 6

The Petersen Automotive Museum is set to host a special event celebrating Ken Block, a motorsports legend, on April 6. This public gathering will honour his life and career, featuring unique cars, exclusive merchandise, and a live podcast with Brian Scotto. The event promises to be a significant occasion for fans and automotive enthusiasts alike.

Visitors will have the chance to see rare vehicles from Block's collection that are not part of the "People's Champ: Impact of Ken Block" exhibit. These include the 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Stunt Junkies jump car, the "Turbo Monster" Audi Sport Quattro, and the 1978 Ford Escort Mk2 RS. This exclusive display is a highlight of the event.

Celebrating Ken Block at Petersen Museum

The celebration will take place on Sunday, April 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can enjoy hundreds of unique builds and meet notable automotive personalities who collaborated with Block. The event also includes an exclusive merchandise drop and a live podcast featuring Brian Scotto, co-founder of Hoonigan.

Brian Scotto and Ron Zaras will be available for interviews during the cruise-in. Scotto is a co-founder of Hoonigan and board member of the 43 Institute, while Zaras is a former senior VP at Hoonigan. Their insights will provide attendees with deeper understanding of Block's impact.

The cruise-in welcomes all vehicle makes and models. Show car tickets cost $69, offering two museum admissions, two exclusive posters, complimentary donuts, coffee, and show car parking. An exclusive tour of "People’s Champ: The Impact of Ken Block" exhibit will be led by Ron Zaras. This exhibit opened on February 15 at Petersen Museum showcasing milestones in Block’s career through his vehicles, personal effects, and memorabilia.
