Peralta S Supercar To Make Its U.S. Debut At Monterey Motorsports Festival On August 16, 2025
The Monterey Motorsports Festival is set to host the exclusive US debut of the Peralta S supercar on August 16, 2025. Designed by Fabrizio Giugiaro, this vehicle will be a highlight at the event. Created by GFG Style, founded by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, the Peralta S is their first unique creation. It was initially revealed in Mexico for collector Carlos Peralta.
Based on the Maserati MC20 chassis, the Peralta S features a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout with a 621hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine. Its striking wedge-shaped body is crafted from polished aluminium and includes carbon fibre aero parts. The design draws inspiration from the 1972 Maserati Boomerang concept by Giorgetto Giugiaro.
The Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) continues its partnership with the Monterey Motorsports Festival. ASI aims to protect and promote historic Italian motoring's cultural and historical significance. With over 150,000 members and more than 300 affiliated clubs in Italy, ASI supports events like this to highlight classic cars' importance.
ASI will present an award to a special vehicle at the festival. Maria Laura Luraghi, an ASI Concours Judge, will present the ASI Prize to a deserving car. Alberto Scuro, President of ASI, stated that the festival's innovative approach attracts younger audiences to classic cars.
Laura Kukuk, a renowned vehicle expert known as "the classic car detective," will offer insights into car collecting at the festival. Her session will cover essential tips for Pre-Purchase Inspections and authenticity checks. Kukuk emphasises that understanding details is crucial for collectors to make informed decisions.
Kukuk's workshop aims to empower collectors by teaching them how to spot details others might miss. She stresses that collecting is about understanding rather than mere possession. Her session is scheduled for August 16 at 5:30 PM during the festival.
Festival Highlights and Ticket Information
The Monterey Motorsports Festival offers a wide range of attractions for car enthusiasts and families alike. Visitors can explore hypercars, supercars, American muscle cars, race cars, and more. The event also features live entertainment and curated food options.
Tickets are available at $119 for general admission, with free entry for children under 12 and discounted tickets for teenagers aged 13-17 at $59. The Vino & Vibes package offers additional perks like access to top wineries for $219.
Paolo Manca, founder of MMF, expressed excitement about announcing these attractions alongside previous announcements involving Mad Mike Whiddett. He highlighted that the festival accommodates various aspects of car culture and passion.
The Monterey Motorsports Festival remains a private ticketed event with limited availability while supplies last. It promises an engaging experience with automotive unveilings and activities suitable for all ages.
