Discover Ken Block's Legacy At The People’s Champ Exhibit In Los Angeles
A new exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum honours Ken Block's legacy with a display of his iconic cars and memorabilia. Media members are invited to preview "People’s Champ: The Impact of Ken Block," showcasing the most extensive collection of Block’s work. Supported by 43 Institute, the exhibit mirrors Block’s race headquarters in Park City, Utah.
The exhibit features vehicles from Block's viral "Gymkhana" films and his rally career. Visitors will see hypermedia displays and previously unseen photos and memorabilia. Highlighted cars include the 1965 Ford Mustang RTR "Hoonicorn" from "Gymkhana SEVEN," the 2022 Porsche 911 SVRSR "Hoonipigasus," and more.

Among the standout vehicles is the 1965 Ford Mustang RTR "Hoonicorn," known for its appearances in "Gymkhana SEVEN," "Gymkhana TEN," and "Climbkhana." The 2022 Porsche 911 SVRSR "Hoonipigasus" boasts a remarkable 1,400 horsepower, built for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Also featured are two Subaru IMPREZA WRX STIs from different Gymkhana films.
Block's first Ford rally car, a 1978 Ford Escort later modified for "Gymkhana GRID" competition, is also on display. The collection includes a classic rally racer, the 1994 Ford Escort RS Cosworth WRC "Cossie V2," updated to modern World Rally Championship standards.
Attendees can gain deeper insights into Ken Block’s impact through interviews with key figures like Brian Scotto, co-founder of Hoonigan and board member of 43 Institute, Ron Zaras, former senior VP at Hoonigan, and staff from Petersen Automotive Museum. These discussions will provide context to Block's influence in motorsport.
The media-only previews are scheduled for Thursday, February 13th, and Friday, February 14th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The public opening will take place on Saturday, February 15th at the Petersen Automotive Museum located at 6060 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles.
