Top 10 Carmakers (November 2025) - Maruti, Mahindra & Tata Top The Sales Charts
India's passenger-vehicle market recorded retail sales of 3,94,152 units in November 2025, rising by 64,899 units compared to November 2024 for a year-on-year growth of 19.71 per cent. The month reflected broad increases across leading manufacturers, with individual gains reshaping overall market share positions.
The top ten manufacturers collectively strengthened their annual performance, led by Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra and Tata. Each brand posted a higher year-on-year volume than in November 2024, maintaining competitive rankings through cumulative share contribution within the domestic passenger-vehicle industry.

Maruti Suzuki reported 1,55,321 units in November 2025, increasing its tally by 25,176 units compared to November 2024. This delivered year-on-year growth of 19.34 per cent and produced a market share of 39.41 per cent, keeping Maruti firmly ahead of all other manufacturers.
Mahindra recorded 53,997 units during November 2025, rising by 9,409 units over the same month last year. This reflected year-on-year growth of 21.10 per cent and resulted in a market share of 13.70 per cent, placing Mahindra second among all passenger-vehicle manufacturers for the month.

Tata Motors reported 52,044 units in November 2025, an increase of 9,658 units compared to November 2024. This amounted to 22.79 per cent year-on-year growth and translated into a 13.20 per cent market share, positioning Tata in third place for the month's overall retail volumes.
Hyundai Motor India achieved 49,567 units in November 2025, higher by 4,373 units versus November 2024. This equated to 9.68 per cent year-on-year growth and gave Hyundai a market share of 12.58 per cent, maintaining its position as one of the leading mass-market manufacturers.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded 27,320 units in November 2025, up by 6,170 units compared with November 2024. This delivered year-on-year growth of 29.17 per cent and resulted in a 6.93 per cent market share within the month's passenger-vehicle industry totals.

Kia reported 23,805 units in November 2025, rising by 4,680 units relative to November 2024. This produced year-on-year growth of 24.47 per cent and positioned Kia at a 6.04 per cent share of the month's passenger-vehicle market.
Skoda VW registered 9,316 units in November 2025, an increase of 3,323 units over November 2024. This generated a strong year-on-year growth of 55.45 per cent and resulted in a market share of 2.36 per cent for the combined Skoda-Volkswagen group.
Honda Cars India delivered 5,264 units in November 2025, higher by 616 units than November 2024. This represented 13.25 per cent year-on-year growth and an estimated market share of 1.34 per cent based on total monthly industry volumes.
JSW MG recorded 4,400 units in November 2025, declining by 835 units compared with November 2024. This reflected a negative year-on-year change of 15.95 per cent and translated into a market share of 1.12 per cent for the month.
Renault India posted 3,397 units in November 2025, increasing its total by 401 units versus November 2024. This amounted to 13.38 per cent year-on-year growth and produced a market share of 0.86 per cent within the month's retail passenger-vehicle market.
