It is also worth mentioning that the difference in range between both the models are negligible. However, driving inputs will significantly influence the range of an electric car in real-life conditions.

That said, the Mahindra XEV 9e uses a lot more powerful motor, and we expect this difference to make a significant difference in real life. However, Tata is also offering a more powerful version of the Harrier EV with AWD capability - Adds another 158PS of power to the front wheels, making it pretty exhilarating.

Practical Difference

Coming back to the price difference, a kWh of electricity at charging stations usually ranges between Rs 6 and Rs 12, depending on the service provider and charging speeds. As such, considering an average of Rs 9/kWh of electricity, you could charge your Tata Harrier EV 616 times - which is equivalent to 3.86 lakh+ kms, which is again equivalent to rounding the earth almost 10 times.
