How E20 Petrol Affects Warranty On New Nissan Magnite SUV? All Details Here
Nissan Motor India has reaffirmed that its entire Magnite lineup is now E20 fuel-compliant, ensuring that using ethanol-blended petrol will not void the warranty on any new Nissan Magnite sold after October 2024. This aligns the automaker with the Indian Government's push toward alternative fuels and greener mobility solutions.
In an official statement, Nissan said it "remains fully supportive of the Government's initiatives focused on sustainable fuels and innovative solutions for a cleaner future." The company highlighted its commitment to continuous product innovation and sustainable mobility, with the Magnite serving as a key example of this vision.

The Nissan Magnite has built a strong reputation for quality and safety, having earned a prestigious five-star Global NCAP safety rating. To further bolster customer confidence, Nissan has introduced a segment-first 10-year warranty program, emphasizing the brand's long-term commitment to its buyers.
Under the hood, the Magnite offers two petrol powertrains. The 1.0L BR10 naturally aspirated petrol engine - Now E20-compliant since February 2025, producing 72PS and 96Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or optional AMT.

On the other hand, the 1.0L HR10 turbocharged petrol engine has been E20-compliant since August 2024, delivering 100PS and 160 Nm (152 Nm with CVT). This engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
The compact SUV is built on the CMF-A+ platform and offers generous features across variants, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, LED bi-projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, and 360-degree camera. Higher trims also add wireless charging, air purifier, and connected car technology.
With a length of 3,994mm, width of 1,758mm, and a 205mm ground clearance, the Magnite balances urban practicality with SUV presence. Its 336-liter boot space and dual airbags with ABS and EBD as standard make it both versatile and safe.
