Nissan Magnite CNG Automatic: Top 5 Things To Know
Nissan Motor India has expanded its CNG retrofitment program to include the New Nissan Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT). This follows the positive response received earlier this year when the retrofitment option was launched for the manual transmission variants.
With this update, the Magnite becomes one of the few compact SUVs in India to offer factory-approved CNG retrofitment for both manual and AMT versions-delivering convenience, lower running costs, and a more sustainable driving experience.

3 Year/ 1 Lakh Kilometre Warranty
The retrofitment kit for the Magnite is developed by Motozen Fuel Systems and carries full government approval, meeting all safety and emissions norms. It comes with Nissan's standard 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty, providing customers with complete peace of mind.
Integrated Fuel Lid
A major design upgrade in the new system is the integrated CNG fuel-filling setup, which positions the CNG filling valve inside the regular fuel lid. This replaces the older design that placed the valve within the engine bay. The new setup allows for quicker refueling, improved ergonomics, and a cleaner, more user-friendly design. This integrated system is now standard on all retrofitted Magnite units and will be implemented across authorised Nissan retrofitment centres nationwide.
Pricing & GST Benefit
The Nissan Magnite CNG retrofitment kit is priced at Rs 71,999 (MRP). The company has passed on the benefits of the recent GST rate cut from 28% to 18%, making the retrofitment package even more affordable. Nissan says the move reinforces its commitment to offering high-quality, safe, and value-driven mobility solutions.
Program Expansion Across 13 States
Nissan's CNG retrofitment program now spans 13 states across India, including Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh. The retrofitment kit is compatible with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and is available for both manual (BR10 MT) and EZ-Shift (AMT) variants.
Safety & Reliability
The New Nissan Magnite continues to uphold its strong safety reputation with six airbags offered as standard and a 5-star GNCAP rating for adult occupant protection. Reinforcing customer confidence further, Nissan also offers a first-in-segment 10-year extended warranty plan.
DriveSpark Thinks
With prices starting from Rs 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom), the Magnite continues to be one of the most feature-rich and affordable compact SUVs in its segment-now made even more versatile with the convenience of CNG.
