Nissan And INFINITI Expand SignatureFLEX Lease Programme For Legacy Contracts With New Mileage Options
Nissan Motor Acceptance Company (NMAC) and INFINITI Financial Services (IFS) have expanded their SignatureFLEX lease program. This update now includes drivers with legacy leases maturing on or after February 1, 2025. Eligible lessees can buy extra miles up to 30 days before their lease ends, offering greater flexibility and convenience.
The SignatureFLEX program has been transformative since its launch in October 2022. Customers from both brands have collectively purchased over 30 million additional miles, saving $4.5 million in overage fees. The new inclusion of legacy leases builds on this success by providing significant savings.

SignatureFLEX allows lessees to manage mileage needs effectively, avoiding penalties at lease end. Jim DeTrude, vice president of NMAC Sales & Marketing, stated, "SignatureFLEX is an innovative lease program that puts customers first by offering them the flexibility to manage mileage needs while avoiding lease-end overage penalties."
Demand for ultra-low 5,000-mile leases has doubled in the past two years. The popularity of 10,000-mile leases has also increased, surpassing the traditional 12,000-mile options among Nissan and INFINITI customers.
Starting in 2025, vehicles with compatible connected car technology will allow in-vehicle mileage purchases. This feature will offer a seamless experience with automatic notifications about current and projected lease mileage.
Additional miles are priced at $0.10 per mile compared to potential overage penalties of up to $0.25 per mile. Customers can purchase these miles through NMAC and IFS web portals or mobile apps without daily maximum purchase limits.
Commitment to Customer-Centric Solutions
The SignatureFLEX program is available across all Nissan and INFINITI lease terms and mileage limits, including the ultra-low-mileage option of 5,000 miles over 36 months. This initiative reflects Nissan Group's dedication to offering tailored solutions that adapt to customers' driving habits and lifestyles.

This expansion highlights a shift in driving patterns as more customers opt for lower mileage leases. By integrating legacy leases into SignatureFLEX, Nissan and INFINITI provide a more personalized leasing experience that aligns with individual lifestyles while minimizing unexpected costs.
