Nissan Formula E Team Excels At Berlin Rookie Test With Gabriele Minì Leading Both Sessions
Nissan Formula E Team had a successful Rookie Test in Berlin, with Gabriele Minì setting the fastest times in both morning and afternoon sessions. Abbi Pulling, in her role as rookie and simulator driver, showed promising speed and improved throughout the day. Despite feeling unwell, Pulling completed 98 laps at Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit, finishing just over a second behind the leader.
Minì also drove the Nissan e-4ORCE 05 for the second time this season. He continued his strong performance from Jeddah by topping both sessions in Berlin. The Italian racer completed 97 laps and set the fastest time of the entire Berlin E-Prix weekend. This marked his third event with Nissan, showcasing his consistent pace.

The Rookie Test aimed to gather extensive data on various aspects of a Formula E weekend. Both drivers engaged in multiple race simulations and qualifying runs at 300 and 350kW power levels. They also tested different setup options to maximise performance insights for future races.
Tommaso Volpe, team principal of Nissan Formula E Team, expressed satisfaction with the day's outcomes. "We’re very happy with how the day went," he stated. "We set several objectives for the test and both drivers followed our ambitious plan well and delivered what we needed."
Abbi Pulling reflected on her experience: "I’m delighted to be here with Nissan Formula E Team in my new role as rookie and simulator driver, and pleased with the work we did today." She acknowledged that adapting to the car's unique features took time but felt stronger compared to her previous outing in Madrid.
Gabriele Minì shared his thoughts on the test: "It was a really strong day, we had good pace from the start and were able to top both sessions." He appreciated feeling the car's power at 350kW during push laps, hoping his feedback would benefit the team.
