Her leadership in transitioning Volvo Car UK to a direct-to-consumer model was highly commended. Judges noted her ability to guide the change management programme with care and teamwork, incorporating feedback from dealerships involved in early trials and overcoming system challenges.

In 2024, Volvo Car UK marked its first full year under the new business model, achieving a market share of 3.4%, which is a 29% increase compared to the previous year. The company registered 66,400 cars, reflecting a 32% rise year-on-year. This growth highlights the effectiveness of the strategic changes implemented under Nicole's leadership.

Nicole joined Volvo Car UK in March 2020 as Consumer Director and later became Commercial Director in June 2022. She assumed the role of Managing Director in November 2023. Her journey within the company has been marked by significant contributions to its success and transformation.
