MICA Hosts Upcoming Events At Bicester Motion And Goodwood For Automotive Insights
Training and networking events organised by the Motor Industry Communicators Association (MICA) are quickly filling up. These events, aimed at in-house and agency PR professionals, offer valuable insights into the automotive industry. The Motorsport Masterclass and the Goodwood Festival of Speed VIP tour are key highlights, promising to enhance attendees' understanding of performance PR.
The "In Pole Position" Masterclass is a unique opportunity for motorsport communications experts and racing drivers to discuss leveraging motor racing as a communication platform. With car brands increasingly entering F1 and sports car racing, this masterclass is timely. Limited to 30 participants, it will take place on June 27th at the Hagerty Clubhouse in Bicester Motion.
Attendees will learn how to maximise PR value from trackside sponsorships and partnerships. Motorsport professionals will highlight the sport's potential for brand storytelling by promoting diverse voices, inclusive narratives, and a representative future. James Bailey from PitBox91 will lead discussions alongside presenters like Charlotte Mackenzie from Motorsport UK and Mike Scudamore from Team BRIT.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed in July promises an exciting experience with cars, stars, and motorsport royalty. MICA is hosting a draw for an exclusive experience at this event on July 10th. The Goodwood Estate has generously donated admission for industry day, while Ferrari offers all-day access to its Pavilion.
This opportunity includes three pairs of tickets for six guests to be hosted by MICA and Ferrari. Attendees will gain new industry knowledge and contacts. The group will also visit stands of MICA-supporting performance brands like Praga for an introduction to the Bohema hypercar in the Supercar Paddock.
