Next-Gen Hyundai Venue Spied Testing: Dual Screens, ADAS & Updated Design
The next-generation Hyundai Venue has been spied testing once again. The latest sighting of the new generation Venue near Chennai comes courtesy PowerStroke on YouTube and sees the sub-4-metre SUV wearing heavy camouflage
Despite the heavy cladding, this newest sighting of a new-gen Hyundai Venue test mule does reveal several changes to the compact SUV. The test mule carried a revised LED lighting setup, blacked-out alloy wheels, an ADAS radar, and a shark-fin antenna.

Up front, the SUV shows a larger grille paired with sharp new bumpers. A split LED headlamp setup replaces the older design, while fresh body lines add more definition. At the rear, reshaped tail lamps hint at a bolder style, influenced by Hyundai's larger SUVs like the Creta and Alcazar.
Inside, the Venue moves to a pair of high-resolution screens that dominate the dashboard.. The latest sighting shows off some rather sharp-looking displays with the instrument cluster showing off rather sharp-looking graphics. The display is expected to showcase detailed trip information, fuel efficiency readouts and tyre pressure monitoring in higher spec variants. A redesigned steering wheel is also visible.

The powertrain lineup is expected to remain unchanged in the next-gen Venue. Options include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing around 120PS and 172Nm, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol making 83PS and 114Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel with 116PS and 250Nm. Transmission choices should include a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed manual.
The test mule also shows 16-inch alloy wheels, thicker cladding, disc brakes at both axles, and a more pronounced set of wheel arches. Roof rails, a discreet roof spoiler and rear parking sensors are also present.

Hyundai is preparing to add Level-2 ADAS technology to the Venue. Expected functions include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and forward collision warning. These upgrades build on the Level-1 systems already available in the outgoing model, bringing the sub-4m SUV in line with Hyundai's newer global portfolio.
The current Venue is priced between ₹7.94 lakh and ₹13.62 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model was expected to carry a slight premium when it reached showrooms after the launch in late October, but that could change if the government cuts GST rates for smaller cars.
