New Renault Master Named Best Large Van At Trade Van Driver Awards 2025 For Professionals
The New Renault Master has been awarded the title of "Best Large Van" at the 2025 Trade Van Driver Awards. This accolade was based on feedback from both industry experts and readers who regularly use light commercial vehicles (LCVs). The award highlights the van's appeal to business users who rely on such vehicles daily.
Renault's new model is available in various versions, offering load spaces between 11 and 20 cubic metres. It features a wider sliding side door opening by 40mm and an extended load capacity by 100mm. The exterior boasts a fresh design, while the interior is upgraded with premium materials and the OpenR Link multimedia system, which includes smartphone integration.

Renault, known for its innovative approach in Europe, continues to lead in electric vehicle development. Through its 'Renaulution' strategy, Renault aims to transform into a more competitive and electrified brand. This plan focuses on modernising technology, energy solutions, and mobility services within the automotive sector.
The New Renault Master is priced from £33,500 plus VAT or £37,500 plus VAT for the E-Tech electric versions after PiVG. Seb Brechon, Head of LCV and PRO+ at Renault UK, expressed that this recognition demonstrates how well the van meets business needs. He noted its appeal to both owner-drivers and fleet operators.
The judging panel included experienced journalists and LCV users who praised the New Renault Master for its versatility. They highlighted its diesel and electric powertrain options as key strengths. The judges remarked: "As this vehicle has already been voted International Van of the Year 2025, it’s hardly surprising that our judges had the Master in their sights for a Trade Van Driver gong this year."
The New Renault Master also comes equipped with 20 driver assistance systems to enhance safety and convenience. For those opting for the Extra trim level, Google built-in is available as an additional feature. This high-tech approach aligns with Renault's commitment to innovation.
Renault has not frequently featured in these awards previously, making this win significant for the French manufacturer. The unanimous decision by judges underscores their satisfaction with Renault's latest offering in the large van category.
This achievement further solidifies Renault's position as a leader in creating vehicles that cater to modern business needs while maintaining a focus on sustainability through electrification.
