Kia has revealed its new Seltos Compact SUV in India with updated exteriors and interiors. It now features a different design layout, alloy wheels, interiors, and infotainment compared with the previous generation model. So, let us check out what's new in the updated Kia Seltos.
New Kia Seltos Top Features and Changes
New Global Design Language
Kia draws inspiration from its global SUV cars and has designed the new Kia Seltos with a new Tiger Nose front grille, which is larger and wider compared to the previous generation.

It also gets revised bumpers, split LED DRLs, pop-out door handles, Sporty alloy wheels with Neon Disc brakes, and Connected Tail lights with vertical tail lamps. It is more modern and more SUV-like than its predecessor.
Refreshing Cabin
The cabin and the dashboard design are completely fresh and new. People will instantly feel the difference during ingress. The Dashboard is now wider, having two 12.3-inch displays, a new centre console, a large dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and front ventilated seats.

Next Gen Features
Kia has given the new Seltos some next-generation features, such as ambient lighting, reclining rear seats, a premium Bose audio setup with 8 speakers, 10-way power driver seats, Integrated memory system, Smart key with push button start, Drive Modes (Eco, Normal, Sport), Kia Connect 2.0, D-cut Steering wheel with Tilt and Telescopic adjustments, Wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Wireless charging, and Paddle shifters.
Maximum Safety and Protection
For safety, it features a 360-degree monitoring system, a Blind spot monitor, Level 2 ADAS safety with 21 autonomous features, 6 airbags, TPMS, Hill start assist, Emergency stop signal, ABS, ESC, All wheel disc brakes, Rollover sensor, Rear view camera with dynamic guidelines, Electronic parking brake with hold, Traction Control (Sand, Mud, Snow), and along with Front, Side, and Rear parking sensors.

What hasn't changed?
The vehicle is still powered by the same 1.5L petrol (114 PS/144 Nm), a 1.5L turbo petrol (158 PS/253 Nm), and a 1.5L diesel engine (114 PS/250 Nm). It is available in 6-speed manual, 6-speed iVT, 6-speed AT, and a 7-speed DCT Transmission options.
Pricing and Other Details
This car will be sold in the tough compact SUV segment, against rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and Skoda Kushaq. The official launch will happen on January 2, 2026, and the pricing is expected to be around 12 lakhs (ex-showroom).
