Next-Gen Hyundai Venue Spied With Dual Curved Screens & New Steering Wheel Ahead Of Launch

Hyundai's next-generation Venue has been spotted testing and the latest spy shots obtained by Rushlane give us a first glance at the SUV's interior for the first time. The second-gen Hyundai Venue will launch in India on the 24th of October..

The biggest highlight is the introduction of a dual screen setup, which looks to be borrowed from the Venue's larger siblings the Creta and Alcazar. The next-gen Venue's cabin sports connected 10.2-inch displays - one acting as the digital instrument cluster and the other handling infotainment duties.

The design of these twin screens under a single pane of glass delivers a seamless feel and both units are expected to feature multiple display options to suit the driver's preference and the chosen driving mode.

Further down on the centre console of the upcoming Venue are new physical controls - two large rotary dials are placed for multimedia functions, while a fresh set of buttons underneath appear to manage the automatic climate control system.

The steering wheel also seems to be brand new, different from anything offered on current Hyundai models. Other additions spied inside the test mule of the next-gen Hyundai Venue include what appears to be a dashcam unit and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

Ventilated front seats are also expected to make their way into the Venue for the first time. Other features tipped for inclusion are a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad, ambient cabin lighting, a powered driver's seat and an integrated air purifier.

Hyundai is also working on safety upgrades for the SUV. The new Venue is likely to arrive with Level-2 ADAS technology, offering adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning and other active systems to match rivals in the segment.

On the outside, changes are equally noticeable. Spy shots suggest split LED headlights, a revised front grille and new tail lamps. The Venue's alloy wheel patterns appear to be updated, while the redesigned bumpers give the updated SUV a sharper and more modern look.

Under the bonnet, Hyundai is expected to stick with existing engine options for the Venue. These include the 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and the 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission are also expected to remain the same, with multiple manuals and a seven-speed DCT automatic on offer.

The new-gen Venue is expected to arrive in time for Diwali. Pricing is expected to remain competitive, and we expect the new Venue to start from just over ₹8 lakh and go all the way up to around ₹13 lakh (all ex-showroom) for the top-spec variant.
