Why Skoda Announced Festive Benefits Early
Although the new GST rates officially come into effect from 22nd September, Skoda has already rolled out festive benefits across showrooms. This strategy ensures that customers don't postpone their purchases until later in the month. By offering GST-equivalent savings upfront, the company hopes to maintain steady showroom traffic leading into Navratri and Diwali, the peak of India's festive car-buying season.
DriveSpark Thinks
With benefits of up to Rs 1.19 lakh on the Kylaq SUV and Rs 63,000 on the Slavia sedan, Skoda is set to attract value-conscious buyers looking for festive season upgrades. The move also strengthens Skoda's position in the compact SUV and mid-size sedan segments, making its cars significantly more competitive against rivals.
