MotoAmerica Superbike Speedfest At Laguna Seca: Exciting Races And Family Fun In July 2025
MotoAmerica's premier motorcycle road racing series is set to return to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca from July 11-13, 2025. The event, known as the MotoAmerica Superbike Speedfest at Monterey, will feature races in five classes: Superbike, Supersport, King Of The Baggers, Twins Cup, and the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship. Fans can enjoy races on both Saturday and Sunday, with three main events scheduled for the Superbike class.
Off-track activities include family-friendly entertainment in the marketplace and live performances. Attendees will have opportunities to meet riders throughout the day in the open race paddock. The event promises a comprehensive experience for motorcycle enthusiasts and families alike.

MotoAmerica and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca will host a Bike Night in Salinas on Thursday, July 10, from 5-7 p.m. This free event will feature autograph sessions with more than a dozen MotoAmerica star riders. Attendees can also participate in ticket raffles and see some MotoAmerica bikes up close. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be honoured as Grand Marshal for this occasion.
On Saturday, CHP motor officers will lead motorcycling legends on a lap of the track before the National Anthem and Superbike Race One. A similar lap will occur on Sunday before Superbike Race Two begins.
Wayne Rainey, a three-time 500cc World Champion who was paralysed from the waist down after an accident in 1993, will lead nine motorcycle racing legends for a Legends ride around the course on Saturday. This marks Rainey's first time riding at Laguna Seca since 1991. He will ride a custom-built Yamaha XSR900 GP alongside Kenny Roberts, Ben Spies, Doug Chandler, Eddie Lawson, and others.
The top four riders in the Superbike point standings all hail from California: Josh Herrin (Lake Elsinore), Cameron Beaubier (Roseville), Jake Gagne (Ramona), and Bobby Fong (Stockton). Last year in Monterey, Beaubier and Herrin exchanged victories in the Superbike main events; Beaubier won on Saturday while Herrin triumphed on Sunday.
