MINI USA Celebrates Independence Day With Bold Display Of New Models In Red, White, And Blue
MINI USA is marking the Fourth of July with a vibrant display of its latest models in patriotic colours. The showcase includes Chili Red, Nanuq White, and Blazing Blue MINIs at BMW of North America's campus. This event not only celebrates MINI's new product lineup but also coincides with BMW of North America's 50th anniversary in the U.S.
MINI's presence in the U.S. has been successful, with no lingering resentment towards its British roots from the former colony. Sales have surged by over 29% in Q2 this year, partly due to the introduction of a new product range over the past 18 months. This range features eleven model variants across four body styles, including both gas and electric options.
The 2025 lineup on display includes the all-electric MINI Countryman SE ALL4 in Chili Red, which is MINI's first tow-rated SUV. Also featured are a MINI Cooper S 2-door in Nanuq White, embodying the classic Issigonis-inspired design, and a MINI Cooper S Convertible in Blazing Blue, representing the latest addition to their portfolio.
The choice of red, white, and blue for these models not only reflects American patriotism but also mirrors the colours of the Union Jack. This subtle nod to its British heritage highlights MINI's unique position as an iconic brand with deep roots on both sides of the Atlantic.
MINI operates independently within the BMW Group as part of BMW of North America, LLC. Based in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, MINI USA manages marketing and sales for the brand through a network of 105 dealers nationwide. Since launching in 2002 with the MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hardtops, MINI has expanded to offer five distinct vehicle models.
