British car brand MINI is planning to launch the Aceman electric SUV in the Indian market by 2026. The MINI Aceman is the brand's entry-level all-electric model positioned between the Cooper and the Countryman Electric. It is likely to be introduced in India as MINI's most affordable electric car. It will arrive on the Indian shores as a fully imported (CBU) model. If it comes from the UK, the Aceman could benefit from the India-UK Free Trade Agreement and be priced lower.

It is built on the same platform as the MINI Cooper Electric. The Aceman is offered globally with two battery pack options - 38.5 kWh and 49.2 kWh. The larger battery variant produces 215 hp and 330 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of up to 405 km. The Aceman is taller and wider than the MINI Cooper hatchback. Hence, it is offered as a five-door model, making it more practical for everyday use.

The Aceman follows MINI's signature design language with a muscular hatchback-SUV stance, squared wheel arches, a closed-off front grille, up to 19-inch alloy wheels, a multi-tone stylish roof, signature LED headlamps with angular DRLs, and geometric LED tail lamps. The car is available in multiple single-tone and dual-tone exterior colour options.

On the inside, the MINI Aceman gets a leather-free interior, including a leather-free steering wheel and seats. The cabin features a minimalist dashboard layout, a head-up display (HUD), and MINI's exclusive round central OLED touchscreen, which shows essential driving data and also serves as an infotainment system. Other highlights include a toggle bar for key driving controls, multiple ambient lighting and dashboard colour themes, a large panoramic sunroof, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system.

Currently, the MINI India lineup has three models: the MINI Cooper Electric, the MINI Cooper Convertible, and the MINI Countryman Electric. With the Cooper Convertible being sold out, Indian buyers are left with only two options. The standard MINI Cooper, priced at ₹43.70 lakh (ex-showroom), and the MINI Countryman Electric, priced at ₹54.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
