Mini Countryman JCW All4 Launched In India At Rs 64.90 Lakh
The Mini Countryman JCW All4 has officially gone on sale in India, priced at Rs 64.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks the arrival of the first internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the current-generation Countryman in the country, following the launch of the all-electric Countryman in July 2024. Bookings for the JCW variant have been open since September 22, and its closest rival in the Indian market is the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Powering the Mini Countryman JCW All4 is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 300hp and 400Nm of torque. The motor is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in a claimed 5.4 seconds. Top speed is rated at 250km/h, while fuel efficiency stands at a claimed 15.4km/l. To ensure an engaging driving experience, the crossover is also equipped with adaptive suspension as standard.
On the outside, the JCW version of the Countryman carries a distinct performance-oriented design language. The SUV features a sportier front fascia with a blacked-out chequered grille, redesigned bumpers, and red highlights that accentuate its athletic character. The red detailing extends to the roof, brake calipers, and body trims, reinforcing its motorsport-inspired appeal.
The Countryman JCW rides on stylish 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, while JCW badging on the C-pillars and a roof spoiler at the rear add to the visual drama. A set of quad exhaust tips, blacked-out 'COUNTRYMAN' lettering, and three exterior shades - British Racing Green, Legend Grey, and Midnight Black - complete the look. Buyers can also choose between red or black accents for the roof and mirrors to personalize their car further.
The cabin of the Countryman JCW All4 continues the black-and-red theme, with red contrast stitching, ambient lighting, and sporty detailing enhancing the atmosphere inside. Taking center stage on the dashboard is a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen with JCW-specific infotainment graphics, seamlessly integrating technology with Mini's signature playful design.
In terms of features, the JCW variant is generously equipped. It includes a Harman Kardon surround sound system, panoramic glass roof, wireless charging pad, heads-up display, powered tailgate, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, and a host of driver-assistance systems such as auto park assist.
