MG ZS EV Price Revision: Variants Rise By Up To Rs 89,000
The MG ZS EV, a formidable competitor in the electric vehicle market, has seen a recent price adjustment. The change, effective immediately, applies to select variants, with increases reaching up to Rs 89,000 depending on the specific model. This adjustment places the ZS EV's price spectrum between Rs 18.98 lakh and Rs 26.64 lakh (ex-showroom prices), marking a significant shift for potential buyers.
In detailing the adjustments, the Essence dual-tone Iconic Ivory and Essence Dark Grey models have witnessed the steepest climb, each now more expensive by Rs 89,000. Following closely is the Exclusive Plus Dark Grey variant, which sees a rise of Rs 61,800.
Additionally, the Exclusive Plus dual-tone Iconic Ivory and the special 100-year edition have both seen their prices go up by Rs 61,000. The Excite Pro variant is not far behind with a price increase of Rs 49,800. Interestingly, the entry-level Executive variant's price remains the same, offering a slight reprieve amidst the widespread hikes.
The ZS EV stands out not only for its pricing strategy but also for its impressive technical specifications. Equipped with a 50.3kWh battery pack, it operates on a single motor that generates 174bhp and 280Nm of torque. This powertrain configuration allows it to claim a range of 461km on a single charge, positioning it as a strong contender against other electric vehicles in the market, including MG's own Creta Electric.
