MG M9 Launched At Rs 69.90 Lakh - The Luxury MPV Game Goes Electric
JSW MG Motor India has launched the MG M9, a premium electric MPV, in India. Priced at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 69.90 lakhs the MG M9 is the new flagship vehicle for the marque in India.
Interested customers can secure their MG M9 by booking online or at the firm's premium MG Select Experience Centres with a deposit of Rs 1,00,000. Deliveries of the MG M9 will commence on August 10, 2025.
MG M9: The Presidential Interior
The MG M9 redefines luxury travel with its Presidential Seats, offering 16-way adjustment, ventilation, heating, and eight massage settings, all controlled through an intelligent arm rest display. The inclusion of a yacht-style dual sunroof bathes the cabin in natural light, while the 64-colour ambient lighting sets the mood for every journey. Additionally, a 13-speaker sound system enhances the auditory experience within the vehicle.
The interior of the MG M9 boasts Cognac brown leather and suede-wrapped seats, providing a lavish and comfortable environment. The MG M9 offers 945 liters of bootspace, expandable to 1,720 liters with the third row of seats folded down along with a 55L frunk.
MG M9 Design and Safety
The MG M9 stands out with its bold exterior, available in Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black, and Concrete Grey. The vehicle's modern design features include a trapezoidal mesh grille, split LED headlights, and a distinctive waterfall-style integrated full-width connected LED taillight. The MG M9 rides on 19-inch alloy wheels shod with ContiSeal tyres.
Safety is a top priority, with the vehicle boasting a 5-star EURO NCAP and ANCAP rating, seven airbags, and Level 2 ADAS with a driver monitoring system for enhanced protection.
MG M9 Battery Pack, Performance & Dimensions
The performance of the MG M9 is as remarkable as its design and safety features. It is powered by a 90-kWh NMC battery, enabling a claimed 548 km range on a single charge. The battery pack of the MG M9 is connected to an electric motor mounted to the front axle that generates 245PS of power and 350Nm of peak torque.
The battery pack supports DC fast charging which allows the electric luxury MPV to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime. Other charging solutions include an 11-kW wall box charger with standard installation and a 3.3-kW portable charger.
The MG M9's battery pack supports Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Load (V2L) charging. Additionally, the vehicle comes with a lifetime warranty for the battery pack for the first owner and a 3-year/unlimited km vehicle warranty.
