MG M9 Launch Date Revealed - The Electric Vellfire Challenger Is Nearly Here

MG Motor India is gearing up for the launch of the MG M9 , a model that will rival the likes of the TOyota Vellfire in the luxury MPV segment. With bookings already open, MG will reveal the price of the M9 luxury MPV on 21 July. We expet the MG M9 to be priced around Rs 70-75 lakh (ex-showroom) marque.

The MG M9 stands out not only for its price and luxury but also for its impressive feature list that can be best experienced from the middle row of seats that feature captain seats with heating, cooling, massage, and reclining ottomans. Other highlights include a floating center console and a 12.3-inch infotainment display along with a 7-inch digital driver's display.

The MG M9 features a 90kWh battery pack, which allows the electric MPV to deliver a range of 548km on a single charge. The MG M9's battery pack is connected to a single electric motor mounted to the front axle. The MG M9's battery pack pushes out 245bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. The battery pack supports 160kW DC fast charging which allows for a full charge in 90 minutes.

The MG M9 electric MPV will be introduced to the market as a single, fully-loaded variant. This approach simplifies the buying process and ensures that all customers enjoy the full suite of features and luxuries that the MG M9 has to offer. At the time of purchase, customers will have the option to select from three elegant colours: Mystic Grey, Luminous White, and Cardiff Black. These options add a personal touch to the vehicle, allowing owners to choose a colour that best fits their style.

A report by Carwale has revealed that deliveries of the MG M9 are expected to begin just a few weeks following its launch. However, the demand for the MG M9 has been so strong that all future bookings are expected to be fulfilled only by December 2025.
