MG HS Hybrid+ Models Introduced With Enhanced Performance And Efficiency Features
The MG HS range has expanded with the introduction of Hybrid+ technology, enhancing performance and efficiency. MG Motor UK has unveiled two new models: the MG HS Hybrid+ SE and the MG HS Hybrid+ Trophy. These models are priced at £28,995 and £31,495 respectively, and come with a 7-year/80,000 miles warranty.
The MG HS Hybrid+ is powered by a 1.5T Hybrid petrol engine paired with an electric motor, generating a combined output of 165kw (225ps). This setup allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 7.9 seconds using a sophisticated 2-speed auto transmission. Despite its power, it achieves an impressive fuel economy of 51.3 MPG and emits only 126g/km of CO2.
David Allison, Head of Product and Pricing at MG Motor UK, stated: "The Hybrid+ will be a great addition to our best-selling MG HS family, blending performance and SUV practicality with a super-efficient hybrid powertrain that keeps running costs down."
The MG HS Hybrid+ models offer advanced features including two 12.3-inch high-definition displays for infotainment and driver information. The central display provides navigation services, weather updates, and smartphone connectivity via Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. The Trophy model also includes a 360° surround view camera and wireless smartphone charging.
Safety is prioritised with features like Active Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Driver Attention Alert, Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Door Open Warning. These systems ensure safe driving while maintaining comfort.
Interior Comforts
The interior of the MG HS Hybrid+ is designed for comfort with quality materials and premium highlights. It includes features like automatic full LED headlights with follow-me-home function, rear parking sensors, heated door mirrors, adjustable seats for both driver and passenger, air conditioning, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, and an electric parking brake with auto-hold function.
The boot offers a generous capacity of 507 litres along with multiple storage options within the cabin. The vehicle can support up to 75kg on its twin roof rails and has a towing capacity of up to 1500kg (braked), making it suitable for families and businesses alike.
