The earlier teaser also revealed a new blue exterior paint option.

Updated Interior and Colour Theme

Technology and Features
MG Motor is well known for its technology and offerings. It was among the first brands in the segment to introduce large touchscreen infotainment systems. While there is no official confirmation yet, the facelift is expected to receive minor updates to the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, like an updated UX design.
Key features such as i-SMART connected car technology, Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats, Infinity premium sound system with 8 speakers, full LED lighting, powered tailgate, ambient lighting, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, powered front seats, six airbags, and ABS with EBD are likely to be carried forward to the facelift cars.

Powertrain and Transmission Options
The Hector facelift is expected to be powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and the 2.0-litre diesel engine. Transmission will also remain the same, with a 6-speed manual and CVT for the petrol variant. An automatic gearbox could be introduced for the diesel variant with the facelift.
Price Expectations and Rivals
The current MG Hector is priced from ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec Hector Plus CVT is priced at ₹21.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted cars are expected to be priced at a premium, starting at around ₹15 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals cars such as the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Harrier, and Tata Safari.
