MG Comet EV Blackstorm Launched At Rs 7.8 Lakh - The Blacked-Out Comet
British carmaker MG has launched the Comet EV Blackstorm in India. The MG Comet EV Blackstrom is priced at Rs 7.8 lakh(ex-showroom excluding the cost of the battery pack) plus battery rental at Rs 2.5/km.
The MG Comet EV Blackstorm is the first MG EV in India to get the blacked-out Blackstorm design treatment. The Comet EV Blackstorm is positioned as the top-spec variant of the Comet EV and customers can book their cars from today by depositing Rs 11,000 with their MG dealer.

The MG Comet EV Blackstorm sports a "Starry Black" exterior paint scheme that contrasts with the red accents and graphics on the front, sides, rear and wheels of the tiny city-run EV. The Comet EV nameplate is finished in dark chrome, while the "Internet Inside" badge is finished in black.
Comet EV Blackstorm owners can also option their cars with an exclusive accessory pack, including a unique badge, wheel cover, and optional styling elements like hood branding and skid plates.

The interiors of the Comet EV Blackstorm sport a leatherette finish for the seats that feature a black colour scheme and red Blackstorm graphics on headrests. The Comet EV Blackstorm also features a 4-speaker audio system that connects to the infotainment screen.
The MG Comet EV Blackstorm draws power from a 17.4kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 230km on a single charge. The battery pack powers a single electric motor that pushes out 41bhp and 110Nm of peak torque.
