Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series Launched: Prices Start At Rs 4.2 Crore
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series in India, with a sticker price of ₹4.2 crore (ex-showroom). This opulent roadster melds the iconic SL profile with the distinctive design cues of Maybach, presenting an exclusive blend of luxury and performance.
The vehicle is offered in two unique design themes, 'Red Ambience' and 'White Ambience', distinguished by their MANUFAKTUR garnet red metallic and MANUFAKTUR Opalite white magno finishes respectively, marking a significant addition to the prestigious Mercedes-Maybach lineup in India.
The SL 680 Monogram Series dazzles with its luxurious exterior, featuring a Maybach-patterned hood, an illuminated Maybach signature grille, and a revamped front bumper with a broad air intake. It measures 4697 mm in length and 1915 mm in width, boasting a high gloss chrome windshield frame and rose gold accents in the headlights for an additional layer of sophistication.
The vehicle's acoustic soft top, designed in light black with the Maybach pattern in anthracite, ensures visual harmony with the vehicle's hood, further enhanced by 21-inch forged wheels available in chrome with either a 5-spoke or a multi-spoke design.
Luxurious Interior and High-Performance Engine
Inside the SL 680 Monogram Series, passengers are greeted with an interior that exudes elegance and luxury. The cabin is adorned with MANUFAKTUR Exclusive Nappa leather upholstery in crystal white, featuring a Maybach-specific floral design. It includes galvanized seat backrests, silver chrome trim, and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster alongside an 11.9-inch central display equipped with Maybach-specific start-up animations. The steering wheel is wrapped in wood and leather, complemented by stainless-steel pedals and door sill trims, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail that Maybach is known for.
At the heart of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 lies a formidable 4.0-litre, V8 biturbo engine that churns out 577 bhp and 800 Nm of torque between 2,500-5,000 rpm. This powerhouse enables the roadster to reach a top speed of 260 kmph and sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds. The SL 680 also features a fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system and a 9-speed automatic transmission, ensuring an exhilarating yet smooth driving experience.
The addition of the SL 680 Monogram Series broadens the Mercedes-Maybach portfolio in India, which already includes the S 680 Night Series, GLS 600 Night Series, EQS 680 Night Series, GLS, EQS SUV, and S 580 limousine.
