Mercedes EQS 450 SUV Launched At Rs 1.28 Crore - 820km Range
German luxury carmaker Mercedes has launched the EQS 450 SUV in India for Rs 1.28 Crore (ex-showroom). The EQS 450 SUV is the five-seater variant of the EQS SUV and deliveries of the flagship EV will start next month and it will be showcased at Auto Expo 2025 next week.
The Mercedes EQS 450 SUV like its larger sibling the EQS 580 SUV features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. In the EQS 450 SUV, this setup pushes out 355bhp and 800Nm of peak torque that is sent to all four wheels via a single-speed gearbox which allows for a 0-100km/h time of 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 210km/h.

The electric motors of the Mercedes EQS 450 SUV draw power from a 120kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed MIDC range of 820km. The battery pack can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 31 minutes using a 200kW DC fast charger.
The exterior design of the EQS 450 SUV is finished in what Mercedes calls the "Electric Art Line" trim, which looks less aggressive than the AMG line trim seen on the 580 SUV. The EQS 450 SUV rides on 21-inch alloy wheels that are finished in black. The EQS 450 SUV also features Airmatic air suspension and Merc's 4-matic all-wheel drive system.

The front section interior of the EQS 450 SUV's interior is shared with the 580 SUV trim level with both cars featuring Merc's massive 56-inch Hyperscreen setup with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that covers the dashboard.
Other features standard on the EQS 450 SUV include a 5-speaker Burmester sound system, multi-zone automatic climate control, soft close doors, puddle lamps, illuminated running boards and a 360-degree camera. The Mercedes EQS 450 gets 9 airbags as standard as well as Level 2 ADAS along with other features like Active Parking Assist, Active Steering Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.
