Mercedes-Benz USA Introduces VanSolution: A New Business Model For Vocational Vehicle Upfits
Mercedes-Benz USA has introduced a new approach for customising Sprinter and eSprinter Cargo Vans. This model simplifies the process of ordering, delivering, and invoicing vocational vehicle upfits. The initial offering includes basic shelving installations starting at $3,1521. These are directly installed by Ranger Design at the Mercedes-Benz USA Vehicle Processing Center in Ladson, South Carolina.
Customers can now order foundational shelving solutions directly from Mercedes-Benz dealerships, streamlining the purchasing process. This eliminates the need for separate transactions with upfit providers. The integration allows customers to receive a single invoice for both the vehicle and its vocational upfits.
The collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Ranger Design brings together the craftsmanship of Sprinter vans with Ranger's expertise in customised upfit solutions. This partnership aims to optimise storage and organisation within the cargo area, enhancing productivity for businesses.

Ranger Design's shelving solutions are tailored to meet various vocational needs such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and contractor services. Local distributors offer additional customisation options to cater to unique requirements. These options ensure that businesses across different industries can find suitable solutions quickly.
The foundational upfit requires either OEM factory or Ranger Design Equipment flooring and partition solutions for safety. All installations occur at the Mercedes-Benz USA Vehicle Processing Center in Ladson, South Carolina.
