In partnership with Safe Kids Worldwide and Scholastic, MBUSA launched a children's book titled "Clifford Takes a Ride." This book educates children and caregivers about passenger and pedestrian safety. A multi-city book tour brought these safety messages to life for thousands of families. Over 1,000 children participated in safety programs during the tour, with 30,000 copies of the book distributed nationwide.

Torine Creppy, President of Safe Kids Worldwide, stated: "We are proud to work alongside Mercedes-Benz year after year to bring lifesaving education programming and resources to families across the country. Their support has been instrumental in our efforts to reduce preventable injuries and create a safer future for all children."

MBUSA supported more than 17,000 Junior Achievement USA students in 2024 by providing critical life skills such as financial literacy and workforce readiness. Employee volunteers played a significant role in increasing graduation rates by 26% and college enrollment by 29.2% among participating students.

Jack Harris, CEO of Junior Achievement USA & 3DE Schools, expressed gratitude: "Mercedes-Benz has been a dedicated supporter of Junior Achievement USA for several years, helping us to inspire and shape the future leaders of tomorrow. Through Driving Your Future, we have been able to expand and deepen our reach this year."

Community Giveback Initiatives

In 2024 alone, MBUSA employees engaged in over 100 community giveback events. They volunteered more than 6,800 hours addressing local needs. Activities included supporting young patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and providing essential items to foster children in Georgia and Alabama.

Their efforts also involved building over 100 pieces of furniture for families in need through the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. Additionally, they constructed more than 150 Little Free Libraries distributed across 60 cities to promote literacy.

Dimitris Psillakis, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA said: "At Mercedes-Benz, we are driven by a purpose beyond the cars we build. We believe in driving meaningful change by investing in the future of our communities."
