Mercedes-Benz Places And JDS Development Group Unveil Luxury Residential Project In Miami

Mercedes-Benz and JDS Development Group have launched sales for the second tower at Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami. The Sales Gallery, which opened on February 5th, features the Silver Arrow Lounge. This project marks Mercedes-Benz's first real estate venture in the U.S., covering over 2.5 million square feet. Tower 1 saw rapid sales, with 100 residences sold within four days of its release in early 2024.

The architecture of Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami embodies the brand's aesthetic through its cuboid tower design. This design integrates traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology, setting a new standard for precision and quality. Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer at Mercedes-Benz Group AG, stated, "The architecture of Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami reflects the timeless tradition of our Design Philosophy of Sensual Purity and infuses iconic potential into luxury living."

The residential suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows up to 10 feet high, along with custom-designed kitchens and bathrooms. The private Porte Cochère offers a lavish entrance into a refined lobby, ensuring convenience for residents and guests. Mercedes-Benz Design collaborates with SHoP Architects and Woods Bagot to create this modern living space.

The partnership between Mercedes-Benz Places and JDS Development Group aims to offer an intelligent urban living experience in Miami's heart. Approximately 800 apartments will be available, ranging from studios to three-bedroom condominiums with views of Miami, Biscayne Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. Michael Stern, CEO of JDS Development Group, expressed excitement about launching the second tower due to positive international demand.

Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami will provide over 130,000 square feet dedicated to amenities and hospitality. Additionally, there will be 250,000 square feet for office space, health facilities, and a hotel with 174 keys. The development includes EV charging stations, bicycle sharing, valet parking, and house cars for residents.

Landscape and Community Features

The landscape surrounding this residential project is being redesigned by Field Operations. Topographic contours and winding pathways will lead through trees and native vegetation. These paths connect playgrounds, padel courts, basketball courts, green spaces, and the Underline Park system nearby.

The Sales Gallery highlights interior design elements for the residential suites while offering a glimpse of the Silver Arrow Lounge. This rooftop space features a 52-foot swimming pool inspired by classic Mercedes-Benz "Silver Arrows" racing cars.

Future Vision for Urban Living

This visionary tower is part of Mercedes-Benz's licensing business by Customer Solutions GmbH and is developed by JDS Development Group. Advanced mobile solutions are implemented with ReWyre's collaboration. Estimated occupancy is planned for 2027.

Eva Wiese from Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions GmbH said they are laying the foundation for one of Florida's most ambitious projects alongside JDS Development Group: "Together with our partner... we will showcase outstanding architecture... delivering a community experience that is second to none."
