Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition Launched - Priced At ₹1.30 Crore
Mercedes-Benz India has launched a special version of its top electric sedan, the EQS 580 4MATIC 'Celebration Edition', priced at ₹1.30 crore. Limited to just 50 units, the EQS 580 Celebration Edition highlights the increasing demand for the EQS series in India and Mercedes-Benz's expanding presence in the luxury battery electric vehicle market.
The EQS 580 4MATIC 'Celebration Edition' maintains its original design but adds unique detailing. It features refined lighting surrounds and newly designed aero alloy wheels. Additional features include a Rear Seat Comfort Package and dual-projector headlamps with adaptive lighting. The signature MBUX Hyperscreen integrates AR navigation functionality, further enhancing the driving experience.
Inside, the EV offers 'Executive Seats' that recline up to 38 degrees with multi-contour massage functionality and lumbar support. The chauffeur package allows electronic adjustment of the front passenger seat from the rear, enhancing comfort. Full Nappa leather trim, including designer seatbelt buckles, adds to its luxurious appeal.
The MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation system is a standout feature in this edition. It overlays real-time camera images with navigation data for improved situational awareness. Additionally, the "ENERGIZING" comfort package enhances passenger well-being during journeys.
Specifications and Performance
The EQS 580 4MATIC is powered by dual electric motors with all-wheel drive support. While performance specs remain unchanged for this edition, it boasts a certified range of 857km (ARAI) from its 107.8kWh battery pack, making it the longest-range electric vehicle in India. Mercedes-Benz India reported a significant 73% increase in battery electric vehicle sales up to May 2025. This growth aligns with their expanding retail presence in India, marked by four new luxury showrooms in major cities.
