The adjustment brings the starting price to ₹79.50 lakh for the E 200 variant and ₹82.50 lakh for the E 220d, while the top-of-the-line E 450 4Matic remains at ₹92.50 lakh, all prices being ex-showroom. This revision does not affect the car's specifications or features, maintaining its appeal as a premium offering in the segment.
Mercedes-Benz has managed to enhance the E-Class's appeal with a plethora of features and specifications designed to offer unparalleled luxury and performance. The long-wheelbase version available in India is equipped with potent petrol and diesel engines, with the E 200 featuring a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 201 bhp and 320 Nm.
The diesel variant, E 220d, boasts a similar capacity engine but offers 194 bhp and 440 Nm. Furthermore, the E 450 4Matic comes with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine, producing an impressive 375 bhp and 500 Nm.
