Mel Harder has been appointed as the President and General Manager of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. With over 30 years in motorsports, Harder previously worked as a team manager at Chip Ganassi Racing. He also held senior positions at Circuit of the Americas and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. His extensive experience in managing international events and facilities makes him well-suited for this new role.
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, situated in Monterey, California, is managed by Friends of Laguna Seca, a non-profit organisation focused on revitalising the raceway and recreation area. Known for its challenging turns and elevation changes, including the famous Corkscrew, it attracts motorsport fans globally. The venue is committed to providing exceptional racing and entertainment experiences annually.
