Mecum Kissimmee 2025 is gearing up to showcase an impressive collection of 4,500 classic and collector cars. The event will take place from January 7 to 19 at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. Known as the World's Largest Collector Car Auction®, it has been attracting participants from all over the world since its inception in 1999.

The auction will be broadcast live on MotorTrendTV and Max, offering 38 hours of coverage over six days. Two iconic cars will headline the event: Steve McQueen’s 1969 Porsche 917K from "Le Mans" and Austin Powers' 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster, famously known as the "Shaguar." These vehicles are set to cross the auction block on January 18.

This year’s event promises new attractions, including the return of the Dodge Thrill Ride and a newly introduced Adventure Zone for children. The Adventure Zone will feature activities like Junior Auctioneering and Power Wheels parades, ensuring entertainment for all ages. Additionally, local food trucks will offer diverse cuisine options for attendees.

The auction's history of success continues with last year's event featuring 4,383 vehicles and achieving $275 million in sales. This marked the third consecutive year surpassing $200 million. Notable sales included a Ferrari Enzo from 2004 and a Ford GT40 MkI Road Car from 1966. The top seller was a Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder from 1963, fetching $17.875 million.

A selection of race cars driven by renowned racers will also be available for bidding. Among them is a rare Porsche 910 with chassis number 910-001, driven by Niki Lauda in a notable race in Austria in 1969. Another highlight is a Lola T90 Ford Indy Car raced by Jackie Stewart, adding to the excitement of this year's lineup.

Beyond cars, more than 1,000 pieces of Road Art® and automobilia will be auctioned during the event. Collections such as RVM Classics and Rusted Restoration will present unique items like neon signs and vintage gas pumps. The Road Art® auction begins daily at varying times throughout the event dates.

Charitable Contributions

Charity plays a significant role at Mecum Kissimmee, with Sunbelt Rentals donating a custom Camaro designed by Chip Foose to benefit the Gary Sinise Foundation. This foundation supports veterans, first responders, and their families through various programs aimed at strengthening communities.

More than 40 private car collections will be featured at this year's auction, showcasing over 2,000 lots ranging from classic models to modern muscle cars. Notable collections include those from Jackie and Gary Runyon Collection and Apex Collection.

The Mecum Midway Stage will host "Mecum in the Morning," co-hosted by Breeann Poland and Matt Avery. This show includes interviews with special guests such as Chase McQueen and Jay Gillotti. Discussions about vehicles crossing the block add depth to this engaging experience for attendees.
