Mecum Harrisburg 2025: Classic Car Auction To Feature 1,200 Vehicles And Unique Student-Built Collection
Mecum Auctions is set to host its annual event at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg from July 23-26, 2025. This auction will feature around 1,200 vehicles, including ten private collections. The event will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and streamed on Mecum's website and YouTube channel.
Among the collections is the Winners Circle Project Collection, which includes five cars created through a nonprofit STEAM initiative. Students collaborated with teachers and industry experts to build these vehicles. Four are 1965 Factory Five Shelby Cobra Replica Roadsters, while the fifth is a 1965 Factory Five Shelby Daytona Replica. Proceeds will support the program.
The Dannie and Barbara McHone Collection offers a nostalgic journey back to the '50s with vehicles from that era's "Golden Age." This collection features a 1951 Mercury Custom with a 5.0L V-8 engine, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop in Surf Green and Colonial White, and a striking red and black 1959 Dodge Coronet Lancer. These cars will be sold without reserve on Thursday, July 24.
The American Muscle Car Collection showcases vintage American muscle cars, including Mopars. Notable entries include a 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster, a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, and a 1970 Plymouth Cuda. These classic muscle cars highlight America's automotive history.
In addition to collections, several standout vehicles are set for auction in Harrisburg. A key attraction is the 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190SL Convertible in Medium Blue with a 1.9L inline four-cylinder engine. Another highlight is the Serial No. 21 of the limited-production 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible Pilot Car.
European performance enthusiasts can look forward to a red 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole built to European specifications. This vehicle adds an international flair to the auction lineup.
