Mecum Auctions Florida Summer Special To Feature 1,500 Classic Vehicles From July 9-12, 2025
An exciting event is set to take place at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, from July 9-12, 2025. Mecum Auctions will host the sixth annual Florida Summer Special classic and collector car auction. Approximately 1,500 vehicles and around 100 pieces of Road Art will be featured, offering a diverse selection for enthusiasts.
The auction will showcase a range of muscle cars and modern performance vehicles. Highlights include a white 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6, a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z with a 5.7L V-8 engine, and a 1966 Ford Mustang Custom Fastback equipped with a Supercharged Coyote Gen 3 5.0L V-8 engine. Modern entries like the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 Convertible and a Rapid Red 2022 Ford Shelby GT-H Supercharged with only 768 miles will also be present.
The event's timing and location in the Sunshine State make it perfect for showcasing warm-weather vehicles. A notable entry is the 1978 Fiat Jolly Conversion with its red exterior and 767cc inline four-cylinder engine. Additionally, a sunroof-equipped 1969 Volkswagen Type II Bus is ideal for beach outings. For off-road adventures or coastal drives, the auction features a versatile 1970 Ford Bronco Custom.
Two distinct collections will also be part of the auction lineup. The Schroeder Family Collection offers an array of vehicles, including a modern 2020 Porsche Taycan 4S and a classic 1941 Ford Custom Street Rod. Meanwhile, The Bill and Barb Farwig Collection focuses on Road Art, featuring items like a Route 66 Single-Sided Neon Sign and a Tokheim Esso Gas Pump among its 23 pieces.
The Mecum broadcast team will provide live coverage on ESPN+ starting at noon ET on Friday and Saturday. Automotive analyst Rutledge Wood joins the team this year. Viewers can also stream the entire auction via Mecum.com and Mecum’s YouTube Channel through the Live Block Cam.
