McLaren 750S “Project Viva” By MSO Revealed Ahead of Las Vegas F1 GP - A Sin City Tribute

McLaren Special Operations, the bespoke division of British supercar manufacturer McLaren has created a one-off 750S called "Project Viva", a bespoke commission designed to echo the atmosphere of Las Vegas during the F1 Grand Prix week. The one-off supercar is displayed at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel and showcases a theme that blends casino culture with the city's neon-lit visual identity.

The McLaren Project Viva's exterior uses a colour named Vegas Nights, a deep black base with embedded metallic flakes that reflect cyan, magenta and green tones when viewed under strong lighting. Also seen is Muriwai White - on the shutters and doors within the Muriwai House motif.

Hand-painted artwork reflecting the city is applied across the body, including dice, roulette-wheel patterns, playing-card symbols and slot-machine numbers. These elements are integrated into the 750S body lines, allowing the motifs to appear naturally within the car's existing surfaces and aerodynamic shapes.

The bonnet carries a customised version of the city's welcome sign reading "Welcome to Fabulous MSO", forming the centrepiece of the Las Vegas theme. The rear wing features a re-styled McLaren badge, and the underside of the active spoiler reveals a "Fabulous" script whenever the aero element deploys at speed.

Ten stars are arranged on the rear bumper to acknowledge McLaren's Constructors' Championship tally, with nine finished in white and one in silver leaf. The silver star marks the most recent title and visually links the racing heritage to the Las Vegas event where the car is being presented.

Interior changes to the Project Viva are subtle compared to the exterior treatment. The cabin retains the lightweight, driver-focused layout of the standard 750S, with contrast stitching and small decorative elements used to tie the theme together. Carbon-fibre panels, Alcantara trim and minimal switchgear preserve the performance-oriented design.

The 750S' powertrain also remains unchanged in the Project Viva, using a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 740bhp and 800Nm. The engine sends power through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to the rear wheels, enabling a 0-100km/h time of just 2.8 seconds.

The McLaren 750S Project Viva is a one-off build created specifically for the Las Vegas Grand Prix period. MSO often uses such commissions to demonstrate the possibilities available to customers, showing how customers can customize their McLaren supercars to make them uniquely theirs.

Speaking about the one-off tribute to Sin City, Jonathan Simms, Director of McLaren Special Operations (MSO) said, "Project Viva captures what McLaren Special Operations is all about - pushing beyond convention to create something truly personal. It's where craft meets character, and where any inspiration can become a story told through design. Every commission we create is a fusion of vision and skill, resulting in a car that authentically expresses the inspiration behind it. Whether born from brand storytelling or a client's own passion, MSO exists to turn ideas into something unique and meaningful."
