Mazda Celebrates 35 Years Of MX-5 Miata With Exclusive 2025 Anniversary Edition Unveiling
The Rolex 24 at Daytona serves as the perfect setting for Mazda's celebration of its MX-5 Miata sports car. Following the first MX-5 Cup race of 2025 and before the 62nd Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) unveiled the 2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata 35th Anniversary. Thousands of fans worldwide gather at this major motorsport event to witness thrilling races.
The highlight of this special occasion is the introduction of the 2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata 35th Anniversary. This model combines a sporty design with luxurious elements inspired by its CX-90 counterpart. It features Artisan Red Metallic paint, part of Mazda's Takuminuri paint process, creating a three-layer finish. The striking dark red is complemented by a beige soft top and bright finish 17-inch wheels.
This anniversary edition includes unique exterior details like a color-matched rear spoiler and serialized badging on the rear fender. Inside, it boasts tan Nappa leather seating embossed with the 35th Anniversary logo on the headrests, matching tan carpeting, and floor mats. A tan Nappa leather-wrapped key fob sleeve adds a bespoke touch for customers.
The interior trim around AC vents and upper door panels matches the exterior color, allowing customers to appreciate the Artisan Red's rich properties even inside. The model mirrors features found in the Grand Touring trim, such as heated seats, Bose audio, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Alexa Built-in, and an 8.8-inch Mazda Connect infotainment display.
Dynamic improvements include an asymmetric limited-slip differential, shock tower bracing, and sport-tuned Bilstein dampers. Available only with a soft top and six-speed manual transmission, just 300 units will be sold in the United States, making it one of the most exclusive MX-5 Miata models available stateside.
