Mazda North American Operations Reports July 2025 Sales Results With Significant Growth
Mazda North American Operations reported total July sales of 45,057 vehicles in 2025, marking a 13% increase from the previous year. Year-to-date sales reached 255,355 vehicles sold, reflecting a growth of 5.4%. CPO sales saw a slight decline.
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced that July 2025 sales reached 45,057 vehicles, marking a 13% rise from July 2024. The year-to-date sales hit 255,355 vehicles, showing a 5.4% increase compared to the previous year. With one more selling day in July this year, the Daily Selling Rate (DSR) rose by 8.7%. Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales for July were 6,268 vehicles, down by 6% from last year.
Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) reported selling 6,951 vehicles in July, reflecting a 14.6% increase over last year. Year-to-date figures for Canada reached 47,747 vehicles sold, up by 19.5%. Meanwhile, Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) recorded July sales of 9,803 vehicles, a growth of 17% compared to the previous year. Their cumulative sales for the year stood at 59,712 vehicles, an increase of 13%.
The Mazda3 saw a decline in sales with only 2,082 units sold in July compared to last year's 3,959 units—a decrease of over 47%. The MX-5 Miata experienced significant growth with sales jumping to 1,163 units from just 504 units last year. The CX-50 also showed strong performance with a rise of over 71%, selling 13,810 units this July.
In contrast to these gains, the CX-30's sales dropped significantly by over half compared to last year’s figures. The CX-5 model saw an increase in sales by about a quarter with total sales reaching over fifteen thousand units in July alone.
