Mattel, Inc. has unveiled its first-ever collection under the new Mattel Brick Shop brand, in partnership with Hot Wheels. This launch introduces seven collectible building sets, available for pre-sale globally and expected in stores this summer. The collaboration combines Hot Wheels' iconic status with Mattel's toy industry expertise, offering fans a novel way to build, customise, and collect their favourite vehicles.
The initial collection includes three series: Speed Series, Elite Series, and Premium Series. Each set features authentic designs inspired by real-life cars and Hot Wheels originals. Fans can enjoy customisation options with changeable wheels, decals, and unique design elements. Every set also includes a 1:64 scale die-cast car exclusive to the collection.

He emphasised that these sets offer true car authenticity through meticulous design and real metal parts.
The Premium Series offers luxury builds with metal parts and licensed decals for customisation. It includes a matching 1:64 metal car for display. A highlight is the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL model featuring opening doors and luxe interior detailing. This series targets collectors aged 17 and above with a price of £136.99.
