Maserati Showcases Heritage And Innovation At The 2025 Motor Valley Fest In Modena
Maserati recently celebrated its deep connection with Modena during the Year of the Trident at the 7th Motor Valley Fest. This open-air event in Emilia Romagna turned Modena into a hub for car enthusiasts and professionals over four days. Maserati was the highlight, offering immersive experiences and exclusive events that showcased its blend of tradition and innovation.
The festival featured a rare public opening of Maserati's historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant, now a hub for luxury and innovation. Visitors from around the world explored the brand's dedication to style, research, and excellence. Exclusive events in the Maserati showroom further enriched this experience, allowing fans to dive into the world of the Trident.
A key attraction was the new GT2 Stradale in Powder Nude livery displayed in Piazza Roma. Nearby, an electric GranGabrio convertible in Orange Devil paint drew attention at the Motor1 stand. These models embody Maserati's "Made in Modena" ethos, with production continuing on new models like GranTurismo and GranCabrio.
The "Motor Valley Top Table" conference at Teatro Storchi was a significant moment. Santo Ficili, Maserati CEO, emphasised Modena's strategic importance: "In this city, one can feel the true essence of the Motor Valley—and it is here that our vision of the future is taking shape." He expressed pride in returning production to Modena.
The festival also honoured Maserati's rich history with a Classics Pavilion in Ducal Gardens. Legendary cars like the Maserati Indy America and Mistral coupé 4000 were displayed, celebrating expert craftsmanship that defines Italian automotive excellence.
Engaging Talks and Processions
The event included thematic talks at Complesso San Paolo featuring Maria Conti on racing evolution, Giovanni Perosino on luxury experiences, and Cristiano Bolzoni on heritage. The weekend also hosted processions like "Moto & Supercars Motor Valley Fest" and "Mini vs Abarth," creating an engaging atmosphere.
Maserati's participation marked a pivotal moment in its Year of the Trident celebrations—commemorating 100 years of its logo. The festivities continue as they prepare to celebrate a century of racing next year. In 1926, Alfieri Maserati drove Tipo 26 to victory at Targa Florio, marking a historic milestone.
