Maserati MCPura Launched At ₹4.12 Crore - 630hp & Scissor Doors
Maserati has launched the MCPura in India with prices starting at ₹4.12 crore for the coupe and ₹5.12 crore for the Cielo convertible. The new Maserati MCPura arrives as an evolution of the MC20, with refinements aimed at improving aerodynamics, cooling, and on-track stability.
The MCPura continues to use Maserati's carbon-fibre monocoque chassis, offering high torsional rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum. The coupe weighs 1,560 kilograms, while the Cielo variant adds 65 kilograms due to its retractable glass roof. The roof uses electrochromic technology to switch between transparent and opaque modes in seconds.

Powering the MCPura is Maserati's 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine, which delivers 630 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that drives the rear wheels. Maserati claims a 0-100 km/h time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed exceeding 320 km/h.
Exterior changes include a reworked front bumper with larger air intakes, a redesigned rear diffuser, and sharper aero detailing across the body. These revisions help optimise airflow and enhance cooling efficiency at high speeds without compromising the car's low-slung proportions.
Inside, the cabin is designed with a driver-centric layout featuring Alcantara upholstery, carbon-fibre trim, and digital instrumentation. The centre console houses a 10.25-inch touchscreen supporting Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Maserati Connect functions. The steering layout draws cues from the brand's GT3 race cars, focusing on compact ergonomics and tactile controls.
Maserati is offering new exterior finishes under its Fuoriserie customisation programme, including a paint option called AI Aqua Rainbow that changes shade based on lighting and viewing angle. Buyers can further personalise trim inserts, stitching, and wheel finishes through the same platform.
The MCPura will be imported to India as a completely built unit, with bookings open through Maserati dealerships in Mumbai, Bengaluru and the new one in the nation's capital of New Delhi, which was opened as part of the MCPura launch. Deliveries are expected to commence before the end of the year.
Philippe Claverol, Head of Maserati Overseas Region, commented: "We are happy and proud to celebrate the opening of our new showroom and service in New Delhi, designed in line with Maserati's latest standards. This marks not only a new chapter for the Brand in India but also a regional milestone, as it becomes the first showroom in the region to showcase MCPURA. Bringing this vision to life here reflects both our commitment to the Indian market and our dedication to offering customers an unparalleled Maserati experience."
